Capabilities

This is another new service offered by APT at the request of our clients.  The portable GC is particularly useful for real time on-line emission results (sub-ppm) of VOCs, HAPs, etc.  APT uses an HP Model 5890 Series II Gas Chromatograph equipped with a flame ionization detector (FID) and Chemstation software.  The instrument is calibrated on-site with all target compounds.  Successful testing has been performed for alkanes, VOC, BTEX, alcohols, aldehydes, carboxylic acids, ketones, etc.  Our Project Administrator brings more than a decade of experience to the department.
